Park View Homes

Our Commitment

At Park View Homes, we understand that building a home is more than just constructing a physical structure. It is about creating a space where families grow, memories are made, and dreams become a reality. As such, we are committed to creating houses that people are proud to call home and building communities that provide quality and affordable housing solutions.

Community Design

Creating Spaces for Connection

We believe that the design of a community is just as important as the design of the individual homes within it. That's why we put so much thought and care into creating spaces that foster connection and community. From the layout of our streets to the design of our parks and playgrounds, every element is carefully considered to encourage social interaction and create a strong sense of belonging.

One of the key ways we do this is by creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Our community designs prioritize walkability, with plenty of sidewalks and paths that encourage residents to get outside and explore.

We understand that a home is more than just a place to live - it's a place to belong. That's why we're committed to creating communities that are designed with connection in mind. Whether you're looking for a place to raise a family or a community to retire in, we have the perfect space for you.

Adaptive Development

A New Era of Building

We are proud to be at the forefront of adaptive development in the home building industry. Adaptive development is a new era of building that focuses on creating homes that are not only beautiful and functional but also sustainable and adaptable to changing needs. We believe that homes should be designed with the future in mind and that they should be able to adapt as the needs of their occupants change over time.

The Power of Nature

Incorporating Green Spaces

Park View Homes is committed to building homes that not only meet the needs of their clients but also protect the environment. By incorporating green spaces in our designs, we are highlighting the power of nature and the importance of preserving it. Green spaces provide numerous benefits, including improving air quality, reducing noise pollution, and promoting physical and mental well-being.

We understand that green spaces are not just an added feature but a necessity and believe that every homeowner should have access to green spaces, whether it's a small garden or a large park. By incorporating green spaces, we not only create beautiful surroundings but also contribute to the larger effort of building sustainable, healthy, and vibrant communities and futures.

Energy Efficiency

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future. As a new home builder, we understand the importance of energy efficiency in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preserving our planet for future generations. That's why we prioritize energy-efficient features into every home and community we build.

One of the primary ways we reduce our carbon footprint is through the use of sustainable building materials. We carefully select materials that are both durable and energy-efficient, such as high-performance windows, insulation, and roofing. These materials help to keep energy costs low and reduce the amount of energy needed to heat and cool your home. This not only helps to reduce your carbon footprint but also saves you money on your monthly energy bills and improves home comfort.

Building in Harmony

Respect for the Environment

As a premier builder, the environmental impact of both our homes and communities are of high importance to us. When envisioning and designing our Merrickville Grove Towns Community, incorporating as many natural landscape features as possible was a top focus. To accomplish this, we utilized Low Impact Development (LID) principles as the foundation of the community's design. LID practices help to control stormwater runoff and promote infiltration. Some examples of LID practices we incorporated include group plantings of grasses and shrubs along property boundaries, grassed swales, water absorption garden areas, rain barrels, and more. To further support our LID initiatives, instead of hard surface retaining walls, we are utilizing vegetation walls. These vegetation walls have stabilizing components, filled with soil and impregnated with plant matter, which forms a green wall for water absorption.

Building Stronger Communities

One Home at a Time

We don't just stop at building homes. We believe that by creating strong, vibrant communities, we can help our homeowners lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. That's why we work closely with local community organizations and businesses to help support the growth and development of the areas where we build. From organizing community events to supporting local schools and charities, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Community Promise

Giving Back

We believe that our communities are more than just a place to live. They are where we build our lives, raise our families, and create memories that last a lifetime. That's why we're committed to giving back to the communities that have welcomed us with open arms.

Our Community Promise is simple: we promise to support the communities where we build by donating our time, resources, and expertise to support our communities. Whether it's partnering with a local charity, sponsoring a community event, or volunteering our time, we believe that giving back is an essential part of building strong and vibrant communities.

We're proud to say that our commitment to giving back is something that all of our employees share. From our construction crews to our sales and marketing teams, everyone at Park View Homes is dedicated to making a positive impact in the places where we live and work. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference and create a better future for all.

Affordable Housing

Making a Difference

We are committed to providing affordable housing solutions for individuals and families, because we believe everyone deserves a comfortable and safe place to call home.

Our approach to affordable housing is simple: we offer high-quality, energy-efficient homes at an affordable price. We diligently manage the construction and development so that costs are controlled and quality is never sacrificed.

At Park View Homes, we believe that affordable housing can make a real difference in people's lives. It can provide stability, security, and a sense of community. We are proud to be a part of that difference, and we look forward to helping more families achieve their dream of homeownership.

Meeting the Demand

Ontario Housing Shortages

As the population continues to grow in the Ottawa area, the demand for new housing is on the rise. In order to meet this demand, new home builders are stepping up to provide more housing options for residents. At Park View Homes, we are committed to doing our part to help alleviate the housing shortage in the region.

According to a recent study by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Canada will require 22 million housing units to accommodate the growing population by 2030, and achieve housing affordability. Ontario accounts for one of Canada’s largest portions of housing supply gaps, meaning the province has one of the least affordable housing markets because housing supply hasn’t kept up with demand over the past 20 years in some of the major urban centres. This presents a unique opportunity for new home builders to step up and help meet this need. This is a daunting task, but we are up for the challenge.

We understand the importance of having a place to call home. That’s why we are committed to doing our part to help alleviate the housing shortage in Ottawa. In every decision we make, every client we meet, and every home we build, we are driven by one core commitment: to create houses that people are proud to call home and build communities that provide quality and affordable housing solutions.
