Honestly, the Merrickville website and facebook pulled on my heart strings a lot! But the biggest impact by far is when you just visit the town and every person you pass by is like a friend you didn’t know you had. I popped into Nellie’s Room with my family to do some shopping and I couldn’t get over how friendly and helpful the staff were. I think it’s safe to say that living here does not make one feel alone, or unsupported.
