Community Architecture
Standing Out while Fitting In
As a new home builder, we understand the importance of community architecture. We know that our homes are not just buildings, and our communities are not simply subdivisions. They are integral parts of the neighborhoods in which they are built. We take into consideration the architectural styles, materials, and color palettes used in the area, as well as the natural landscape and topography. Our goal is to create homes that are visually appealing and harmonious with their surroundings.
In our Merrickville Grove Towns community, our goal was to create housing that complemented the community, with an offering that embraced the heritage aspect, energy efficiency, and site works that encompassed natural landscape features. To accomplish this, our expert design team canvassed the buildings in the heritage district of town to identify and catalogue the buildings' features. Through this we were able to incorporate a variety of heritage details to our exterior facades including coined brick corners with colour staging, arched windows, stone and full brick facades, Corbels where appropriate, historic colours palettes, and complementary steel roof areas. Our efforts didn't stop there! Even our modern street lighting was carefully selected to utilize Dark Sky Technology to enhance the community's historical atmosphere.
At Park View Homes, we take great pride in our commitment to community architecture. We believe that our homes are not just places to live, but important contributions to the communities in which they are built.
